The Exemplar is not only an attractive piece of fine furniture but is also an extremely natural-sounding, efficient, direct radiating high-end Audio/Video speaker system. It is also one of the few speaker systems that is capable of reproducing the entire audio spectrum 20-20,000Hz (human hearing range) at soft through loud sound pressure levels. Reproducing the extreme low frequencies (below 35Hz) and extreme high frequencies (above 15,000Hz) is complex and expensive. The extreme ranges have a vast amount of beautiful and exciting sound and musical material. Most of today's speaker systems have a narrow or limited frequency response (bandwidth) and many also break up, mis-track, bottom out, etc. at concert hall sound pressure levels. Thus, they fall quite short of the above audio range, electro/acoustical parameters, and etc. necessary to recover this information. Reproducing real life performances of sound and music via digital source material is easily achieved by the Exemplar. However, for most speaker systems this task is going to be incomplete and much of the recorded content is inaccessible. The Exemplar's performance should be fulfilling even for the demanding individual who is a serious listener. In making your choice, why not insist on nothing less than the dynamic full audio spectrum sound reproduction like the Exemplar's performance ability. And of course, a sub-woofer is not necessary thereby saving space, additional amplification, and money.
